Verify Warehouse Power Capacity for an Operating Team
Connect a warehouse prospect with current building information and technical reviewers.
Warehouse tours can move quickly when a company has a lease deadline. Power service deserves deliberate attention when the operation includes charging equipment, cooling, automation, or machinery. A broker can request current property data and bring the operating team into the review.
Lena manages a distribution company and likes a building near a highway interchange. “The flyer says heavy power. Is that enough for our new conveyors?” she asks broker Martin. Martin asks for the conveyor specifications, charging plan, shift schedule, and expected expansion. He says, “I can ask the owner for documented electrical information and arrange a discussion with the building team. Your engineer or contractor should determine whether it supports your installation.” Lena admits the conveyor vendor has not finished its drawings. Martin schedules the building discussion after the vendor provides the load information.
Martin does not translate a marketing phrase into an engineering conclusion. He keeps source dates beside each fact and records questions about upgrades, lead time, and cost for the responsible parties. This helps Lena compare locations using the same operating requirements.
For practice, have an operations leader present an incomplete equipment list. The broker should identify the missing number, request building documentation, and invite the technical reviewer. Review whether the conversation leaves the client with an actionable diligence sequence.
