Enablement Account Executive: Security Review
How an account executive can move a coaching platform through a focused security review.
Security review moves faster when an account executive turns a broad concern into a precise question with an accountable answer owner. “Might expose calls” could involve recording upload, data location, retention, manager permissions, or identity integration. Each topic may require different approved documentation and a different specialist.
Nia hears, “We cannot approve a tool that might expose customer calls.” She asks, “Is your immediate concern where a recording is stored, how long it remains available, or which managers can open it?” The security architect answers, “Manager access.” Nia replies, “I will request the approved material on access controls and include our technical specialist. Can you share the roles your team wants us to evaluate before that discussion?”
Nia does not settle an unresolved security question on the call. She can explain the review process, capture the customer’s wording, and coordinate people who can answer from approved sources. This is especially important when a company restricts recordings to a region; a general product presentation cannot establish whether its policy and configuration meet that company’s needs.
Keep a question log with the concern, system boundary, requested evidence, answer owner, and response date. Roleplay questions about data location, deletion, and permissions. Mark which statements you can accurately describe and which require documentation or a specialist. Before the next call, review the log with the security contact so every open question has a clear route and no promise exceeds the approved evidence.
