Support a commuter student facing a lab transportation barrier

Transportation trouble becomes urgent when a lab meets once each week. A retention advisor should learn the attendance impact, explain where course requirements are decided, and connect the student to resources with their own eligibility rules. The advisor cannot excuse a lab or promise funds for rides.
