Flexible and restricted airfare options solve traveler problems. A lower fare can matter, while an uncertain return date may make a change option or credit for future travel valuable. The advisor should retrieve supplier terms, explain them in plain language, and give the traveler time to choose before sending a booking request.

Compare the same flights, travelers, cabin, and baggage allowance. Read current rules for changes, credit, refunds where stated, payment timing, and deadlines. Describe terms from the approved source. If a traveler asks how a rule applies to an unusual situation, capture the question and use the supplier’s authorized support path.

In a fictional exercise, advisor Harper reviewed a fare card for a family visiting grandparents.
