Coordinating an Evidence of Insurance Request
An account manager can collect exact lender details and route an evidence request without certifying requirements.
Lenders often ask a client for evidence of insurance with a deadline that makes every minute feel urgent. The account manager can create order by collecting the exact request. Ask for the lender’s written instructions, borrower name, asset or property reference, delivery method, and deadline. Check the client record through the usual service process before promising any document.
Client Eva says, “The bank says it needs proof today or our closing stops.” Account manager Daniel says, “I will start the request now. Please forward the lender’s wording and confirm the reference number they gave you. I will use that to route it to the document team and update you when they confirm completion.” Eva asks whether the bank will accept it. Daniel responds, “The lender decides that. I can make sure their requested details are captured accurately.”
Avoid describing a document as proof that a contract requirement has been met. The account manager’s job is accurate coordination, including a secure destination and a record of the request. If wording conflicts with the client’s file, identify the discrepancy and escalate it rather than silently editing information.
For practice, give a rep a lender email with an abbreviated business name and a different mailing address. Have them identify the fields requiring confirmation. Review whether they separate document delivery from lender acceptance and leave the client with a clear time for the next status update.
