Protect assignments when a site supervisor changes
Use a structured handoff when a client supervisor inherits a team of temporary workers.
A new site supervisor can inherit workers, schedules, and questions without understanding the staffing program. The client success manager can make the change steadier by arranging a focused handoff. Cover the worker roster only with authorized client contacts, current schedules, timekeeping route, performance feedback path, and the person to call for a delivery concern.
Ask the outgoing and incoming supervisors to confirm what has changed and what should remain in place. Avoid making assumptions about worker duties or assignment length. The client can explain its site priorities, while the staffing team explains the established communication route.
When Parkline Manufacturing promoted its shift supervisor, client success manager Yara said, “Before Dana starts Monday, can we review the current team and the steps she needs for questions?” The outgoing supervisor replied, “She knows production but has not used the timekeeping portal.” Yara said, “I can arrange a portal contact and send the approved roster to Dana. Who will confirm the weekly schedule changes?” The plant manager named herself until Dana completed training.
Practice a ten minute transition call. Build an agenda with roster access, schedule owner, timekeeping contact, feedback route, and escalation contact. Have a colleague play a new supervisor who asks whether a worker can be reassigned today. Respond by identifying the client owner who can confirm the change. A review should show whether the handoff gives the supervisor practical control without exposing extra worker information.

A client success manager can transfer account knowledge to a new client manager with an agreed service map and limited access to private details.
Give workers and managers a clear review point when a client may need more time.
Create a factual handoff among the client, worker, and staffing team when access is still pending.
Coordinate a contractor conversion conversation with accurate process owners.
Confirm the approved schedule and contact plan before workers receive a client change notice.
A staffing client success manager can acknowledge a privacy request, minimize new collection, and connect the worker to the proper process.
