Frame an accessible courseware review with evidence

Accessibility conversations become unproductive when a product capability is treated as a complete institutional answer. A thoughtful account executive asks what materials, learner tasks, and review standards are in scope, then brings approved documentation and the right specialists into the evaluation.

Digital learning director Farah says, "Can you guarantee we will be fully compliant, and will this fix our old PDFs?" Executive Grace replies, "I can provide documentation for the courseware and arrange a review of the features you need. Which learner activities and materials create the most urgent concern?" Farah describes untagged PDFs in older templates. Grace says, "Institutional content and configuration are part of an accessibility review. The product may support particular workflows, while existing documents need their own remediation decisions. Disability services and your faculty owners can identify priorities. Would a demonstration with those teams help us test a sample course and list the evidence they need?" Farah agrees and asks Grace to send the product accessibility materials ahead of time.

Before a demonstration, collect approved documentation and ask the buyer to choose one representative course. Practice saying where product capability ends and institutional content review begins. After the meeting, send a record of questions, evidence requested, and the owner for each follow up item.
