Coordinate a joint recovery when a partner installation is questioned
Help partners and customers organize acceptance facts, site dependencies, and recovery communication after an issue.
When a new site does not work as expected, a channel manager can help the partner and customer coordinate recovery without deciding technical cause or liability before the evidence is reviewed. The early conversation should establish what was installed, what testing occurred, what the customer accepted, and which separate site systems may affect the result.
Leah, a partner delivery director, says, “The customer says the new site cannot use the service. Was this your equipment or ours? Can you send someone today?” Morgan replies, “We need the installation record and acceptance facts before assigning cause. Can we review the final test results, the site cabling status, and who confirmed acceptance when the ticket was closed?” Leah says the internal cabling failed final test and the ticket closed before customer acceptance. Morgan says, “I will bring the delivery and technical owners together with customer IT. We will send one recovery update that lists the confirmed facts, the open checks, and who owns each next action.”
The update should state what the customer experiences, which evidence is verified, what each team is investigating, and the next contact time. Keep the provider service and internal site wiring as separate work items. This allows the customer to see progress without receiving a premature blame statement.
Practice introducing this recovery structure to a partner under pressure. Ask for one acceptance artifact before discussing cause. End by naming the person responsible for the next customer communication.
