Enablement Consultant: AI Trust
How an enablement consultant can build trust in AI coaching with a review process.
AI coaching earns trust when managers can see how feedback enters their work and what they can do when it seems wrong. An enablement consultant should learn whether sellers fear surveillance, automatic ranking, unexplained scores, or a manager losing judgment. Those concerns lead to different conversations with legal, HR, and the managers who will use the tool.
Rae asks a sales leader, “When a manager disagrees with an AI suggestion, what should happen?” The leader says, “They need to see what in the call prompted it and decide whether it applies.” Rae replies, “Let’s use anonymized examples in a workshop. Managers can inspect the cited moment, compare it with the rubric, and record why they accepted or rejected the suggestion. We will route questions about employee notice to your approved policy owners.”
The workshop demonstrates a decision process that lets participants inspect the evidence behind a suggestion. A manager might see a prompt about weak discovery, open the related call moment, and conclude that the customer had already answered the question in a prior meeting. That correction is useful input for coaching. It also keeps a score from becoming an unexamined judgment about a seller.
Prepare three sample outputs with the evidence each references and a question a manager would ask before acting. Ask a peer to challenge one score as a skeptical manager. Practice explaining the review path, record unanswered policy questions, and revise the workshop agenda around the objection that exposed the greatest uncertainty.
